A Multi-Cat Spreader equipped with Remote Chassis Controls will increase your production, and save you time and money. This system allows one operator to inch the chassis along the work area as they are placing material, eliminating the need to interrupt the placing process to reposition the chassis from the driver’s seat as required.

Features include:

• PLC interface for reliable system controls.
• Light and sound alarm to warn when chassis is put in motion.
• Steering limits to prevent over-steer and damage to the power steering system.
• Remote engine start and stop feature.
• Battery back up allows the interface system to safely shut down and engage the braking system should 12 volt power be lost.
• Brake air pressure, transmission and clutch sensors will shut down the system and apply emergency braking or will prevent the drive system from arming if the chassis is in unsafe mechanical condition.
• Arming of Chassis Controls is not required for stationary spreader operation

Chassis Requirements:

• Heavy-duty class 8 truck chassis equipped with R.E.P.T.O. (rear engine power take-off).
